Terms of Service

autodm is a web application that connects to your Instagram Business or Creator account via Meta's Platform APIs. The Service provides analytics dashboards, follower retention metrics, engagement insights, and automated direct messaging features (such as sending automatic replies when users comment specific keywords on your posts).

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Have a valid Instagram Business or Creator account (personal Instagram accounts are not supported by Meta's APIs)
• Have the authority to authorize third-party access to your Instagram account
• Comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Meta's Platform Terms at all times

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

By connecting your Instagram account, you authorize autodm to access and process your account data through Meta's Platform APIs. You acknowledge and agree that:

• We access your data solely to provide the features described in Section 1
• We comply with Meta's Platform Terms, including all obligations related to data use, data security, and data retention
• We will delete your Platform Data when you request deletion, when you delete your account with us, or when required by Meta's Platform Terms, unless applicable law requires us to retain it
• We do not sell, license, or otherwise transfer Platform Data to any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the Service
• We do not use Platform Data for advertising, surveillance, or profiling purposes
• We do not use Platform Data to disadvantage any person based on race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, or medical or genetic condition

The Service enables you to configure automated direct messages in response to specific comment keywords on your Instagram posts. By using this feature, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content of all automated messages sent on your behalf
• You will not use automated messaging for spam, harassment, fraud, or any purpose that violates Instagram's Community Guidelines or Meta's Platform Policies
• You understand that Instagram enforces a 24-hour messaging window, meaning automated DMs can only be sent to users who have interacted with your account within that period
• We may suspend or disable your automated messaging if we detect or are notified of misuse

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure token storage, multi-factor authentication for our systems, and regular vulnerability testing. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

We engage third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting platforms) to help operate and deliver the Service. These service providers process data solely on our behalf under written agreements that obligate them to protect your data and restrict their use of it. We remain responsible for how your data is handled by our service providers in connection with the Service.

You agree that you will:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service or our systems
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Not use the Service to collect, store, or process data in violation of any applicable law or Meta's Platform Terms
• Promptly notify us at synarahq@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account

You may disconnect your Instagram account or delete your autodm account at any time. Upon account deletion or disconnection:

• We will delete all Platform Data associated with your account within 30 days
• Automated messaging features will cease immediately
• Cached analytics data will be purged

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if Meta revokes or restricts API access for our application, or if required by law.

The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by autodm and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

You retain all rights to the content and data from your Instagram account. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any analytics data derived from Instagram's APIs, as this data is subject to Meta's platform availability and data policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, autodm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice within the app at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
